Plain language summaries are simplified versions of complex articles that are written in language that is clear and easily understandable by a general audience. Their aim is to make information more accessible to people who may not be experts on a given topic. This webinar will feature discussion of the development of ISO 24495-1:2023 (Plain language; Part 1: Governing principles and guidelines), as well as discussion on how and why publishers should use plain language summaries.
